Data Scientist

📍 Location: Central London
💰 Salary: £60K base + bonus + benefits
💼 Permanent role
🏢 Work Mode: Hybrid

This role is highly focused on Deep Learning, NLP, BERT/Transformers, probabilistic ML, Bayesian modelling, and optimisation, with opportunities to work on complex projects across healthcare, technology, green energy, and other sectors.

Requirements

  • 3–8 years of relevant experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or NLP.
  • Strong hands-on programming skills in Python, R, or Scala.
  • Strong experience developing and deploying Machine Learning / Deep Learning models.
  • Solid understanding of NLP, preferably working with real-world unstructured text/data.
  • Experience with BERT, Transformers, and fine-tuning language models.
  • Strong understanding of statistics, probability, Bayesian modelling, and optimisation.
  • Good SQL and relational database knowledge.
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Comfortable working in a research-oriented environment involving experimentation, analysis, and mathematical problem-solving.

Education

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline is highly desirable.
