About the Company

The Role

  • Identify alpha signals from alternative data sources not captured by traditional market data.
  • Build and maintain predictive models using various data sources.
  • Develop and scale reproducible data science processes and tools using Python and SQL.
  • Conduct research initiatives to identify novel approaches to existing data processes.
  • Collaborate with investment professionals to develop hypotheses and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate complex findings clearly to less technical stakeholders through compelling visuals and narratives.

What You'll Need

  • At least three years of relevant experience in data science.
  • Strong background in statistics and/or machine learning.
  • Highly proficient in Python (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, matplotlib/seaborn) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and fundamental investing.
  • Experience with cloud-based data tools (ideally Azure) and familiarity with large language models (LLMs).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
