Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: London

Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President

Join Deutsche Bank's AI Tribe as a Data Scientist and help deliver innovative machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions that create measurable business impact across the bank. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to develop, deploy, and enhance advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities.

You will play a key role across the full data science lifecycle, from data exploration and model development through to production deployment and ongoing optimization. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile initiatives while developing expertise in modern cloud-based data and AI platforms.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver machine learning and advanced analytics solutions aligned to business priorities and strategic objectives
  • Apply the end-to-end data science lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, and deployment
  • Build predictive models and data-driven solutions using modern data science techniques and technologies
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to translate business challenges into analytical solutions
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and model outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation and improve delivery effectiveness

Your skills and experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Experience delivering data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions in a commercial environment
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with modern data science libraries and frameworks
  • Experience working with cloud-based data and analytics platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform or equivalent technologies
  • Good understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and model evaluation techniques
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
