About Our Client

Our client is an innovative life sciences technology business using AI and advanced analytics to solve complex healthcare challenges. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a Data Scientist.

The Opportunity

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Data Scientist to join their expanding technology function. You'll work within a collaborative Agile team, helping to design, develop and maintain scalable solutions while contributing to the technical roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Design, develop and support high-quality software solutions.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers and other technical teams.
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
  • Take part in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and code reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability and security.
  • Investigate production issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and engineering best practice.

Skills & Experience

  • Commercial experience with Python, SQL, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for technology and continuous learning.
