About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI (GenAI) to join our dynamic team at AIG. In this role, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing insurance risk assessment and solution delivery through cutting-edge Generative AI technologies. You will lead the development, deployment, and monitoring of innovative AI solutions that enhance our enterprise-wide capabilities. Qualifications
- Proven experience in building Generative AI solutions, including prompt engineering, designing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, and validation pipelines
- Strong background in traditional data science roles, preferably with proficiency in Python
- Experience working in agile, production-oriented environments with defect triage, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
- Preferred certification or experience with the Palantir platform
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
- Hands-on technical expertise in AI model evaluation, observability, and monitoring solutions
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions aligned with business needs and objectives
- Design and build RAG frameworks, prompt engineering strategies, and validation pipelines to ensure AI model efficacy
- Monitor AI solutions in production, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Build evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness of large language models (LLMs) and ground truth dataset quality
- Contribute to the product development roadmap by providing insights and technical guidance
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Generative AI and incorporate best practices into projects
- Participate in troubleshooting, defect resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
