Data Scientist
London (2 days per week onsite) | Up to £65,000
Looking for a Data Scientist role where you can combine advanced analytics with meaningful client engagement? This is an opportunity to join a well-established data and analytics organisation, delivering predictive modelling solutions and helping organisations make better decisions through data. You'll work across a variety of projects, shaping analytical outcomes while collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Role
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying predictive models that solve real-world business challenges.

Key responsibilities include:
- Building and refining predictive models, including propensity and scoring models
- Analysing large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights
- Working closely with clients to understand commercial challenges and project objectives
- Leading data discovery sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Presenting analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborating with Project Managers, Data Analysts, and industry specialists throughout project delivery
- Contributing to the development and optimisation of analytics products and solutions
- Supporting model monitoring, validation, and continuous improvement activities
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience using Python and SQL
- Experience building predictive, propensity, classification, or scoring models
- Ability to analyse complex datasets and translate findings into business recommendations
- Experience presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders or clients
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage directly with customers
- Understanding of machine learning techniques and model development lifecycle
- Experience working with Databricks would be highly advantageous
- Exposure to cloud-based analytics environments, particularly Azure, is beneficial
- Consultancy, agency, or client-facing analytics experience is desirable
