Position: Data Scientist
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $60 - $130/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 - 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess diverse datasets to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis.
- Develop, validate, and implement statistical and predictive models to generate actionable insights.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Create data visualizations and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute end-to-end data science projects.
- Improve analytical methodologies and automate data workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Communicate data-driven findings and recommendations through clear written and verbal presentations.

Requirements
- Strong expertise in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong experience handling, cleaning, and analyzing large and complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools for data manipulation and modeling.
- Strong experience building and validating predictive and statistical models.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Matplotlib, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
