Fraud Data Scientist
A growing fintech is looking for a Data Scientist to take ownership of fraud analytics and fraud prevention capabilities. This is a high-impact role where you'll develop fraud models, identify emerging risks, and work closely with underwriting, product, and engineering teams to improve customer outcomes.

The Role
- Develop fraud detection, fraud scoring, and identity verification models
- Analyse fraud trends and deliver actionable insights
- Evaluate and integrate new data sources to strengthen fraud prevention
- Monitor model performance and drive continuous improvements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement fraud solutions
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in fraud analytics, fraud strategy, or fraud prevention
- Commercial experience using SQL and Python
- Exposure to statistical modelling or machine learning techniques
- Ability to communicate insights and business impact to stakeholders
- Experience within financial services, fintech, payments, lending, or e-commerce is beneficial
