Junior Data Scientist (Marketing Analytics)
Hybrid: (3 days in the Central London office)
Salary: £40K-£48K base + bonus
Our client, a leading digital entertainment company, is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join their Marketing Analytics team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take hands-on ownership of a Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) pipeline, working at the intersection of statistical modelling and experimentation.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and refining MMM models to measure channel ROI, using time-series marketing data (spend, impressions, external factors)
- Calibrating models against incrementality testing (GeoX tests, attribution data)
- Translating model outputs into budget scenario planning and "what-if" simulation tools
- Using SQL to dig into first-party user data and track key KPIs
- Partnering with Data Engineering to automate and improve data pipelines
- Presenting complex econometric/Bayesian/ML concepts clearly to marketing and senior stakeholders

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
