About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our client’s dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in transforming manufacturing and product data into actionable insights that enhance quality, optimize performance, and support strategic decision-making. Collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, and digital teams, you will utilize advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to address complex engineering challenges. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data science and manufacturing innovation, contributing directly to the continuous improvement of products and processes.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background with an MSc, MEng, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science, or a Data-related discipline. Proven experience analyzing manufacturing, operational, or quality datasets is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar, alongside experience with SQL databases and data visualization tools. A solid understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and machine learning techniques is required. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are also critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing, quality, and product performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and reporting tools that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to support engineering and operational decisions.
- Define data requirements and reporting specifications in collaboration with engineering and digital teams.
- Support simulation and modeling activities by leveraging real-world data to enhance predictive accuracy.
- Present complex findings and actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
