The Opportunity

We're working with a specialist analytics and consulting team that helps organisations tackle complex operational and strategic challenges using Data Science, AI and Simulation. This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Scientist or quantitative problem solver with commercial experience to join a highly technical team and work on projects that directly influence business decisions.

The team combines Data Science, Machine Learning, AI and Simulation to help organisations answer difficult questions, optimise operations and make better decisions at scale. You'll work alongside Data Scientists, Engineers, Physicists, Mathematicians and other STEM specialists in a collaborative environment where technical excellence is genuinely valued.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building analytical, statistical and machine learning models
  • Applying Data Science, AI and simulation techniques to solve real-world business problems
  • Working with complex datasets to uncover insights and inform decision-making
  • Developing solutions using Python and modern data science tools
  • Supporting the design and delivery of optimisation and forecasting models
  • Communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Working directly with stakeholders to understand challenges and shape solutions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across analytics, technology and strategy

What We're Looking For

  • Degree, Master's or PhD in a STEM-related discipline
  • Commercial experience in Data Science, Analytics, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Simulation or a related quantitative field is desirable
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Good understanding of statistical modelling and data analysis techniques
  • Strong problem-solving ability and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
