Data Security Engineer
We've partnered with a long term client of ours in the financial services space who are looking for a new Data Security Engineer. They want someone to come in and help secure enterprise data platforms and SaaS environments. If you're passionate about securing modern data and SaaS ecosystems and want to make a real impact in a collaborative security team, take a look at the info below!
Day to day role:
- You'll work within a collaborative Application and Platform Security function, engineering and automating security checks across platforms like Snowflake
- You'll Build custom API queries and scripts to assess configuration, access, and control effectiveness where standard tooling isn't enough.
- You'll help drive SSPM tooling deployment, risk identification, remediation, and security reporting that scales.

Required Experience:
- Hands-on experience securing enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Dataiku, Salesforce) and/or SaaS applications, ideally in large-scale or regulated environments
- Experience with SSPM and PaaS/SaaS security controls
- Experience with scripting/coding for API-driven security and compliance checks (Python/JavaScript ideally)
- Strong grasp of IAM, data access governance, and shared responsibility models in SaaS ecosystems
- Knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO etc
- Strong communicator who can translate security risk for technical and non-technical audiences alike
