Lead Data Security Engineer

Are you a hands-on security engineering leader with expertise in data protection, cloud security, automation, and secure-by-design practices? This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of enterprise data security, drive security innovation, and enable business growth through proactive, scalable security solutions. As a senior individual contributor, you will work across engineering, data, AI, cloud, and business teams to develop security capabilities that protect critical data assets while supporting rapid innovation and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Data Security Leadership
Security Strategy & Vision
- Define the long-term security architecture and roadmap for enterprise data platforms.
- Translate complex business risks into scalable security solutions.
- Establish security standards that support growth, innovation, and compliance.
- Drive adoption of security-by-design principles across data initiatives.
Embedded Security Partnership
- Work directly with engineering and data teams.
- Understand real-world data handling practices and operational risks.
- Participate in solution design and implementation activities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on secure data engineering practices.
Security Engineering
Secure Solution Development
- Design and implement data security controls in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Build practical security solutions that integrate seamlessly into development workflows.
- Balance risk mitigation with business agility and speed.
Security Automation

Develop and maintain automated solutions for:
