Job Description
Join Stonehaven as a Junior Data/Software Engineer to build the technical foundation of a high-impact consultancy. You will develop data pipelines, automate complex workflows, and prototype internal tools using Python and SQL. This role is central to integrating AI capabilities across the business, turning diverse datasets into actionable strategic insights for clients.

What You Will Do
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines using polling, economic, demographic, and proprietary datasets to power strategic client recommendations.
- Design and implement data transformations and internal web applications that improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of consulting workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to translate complex analytical needs into reliable technical solutions and user-friendly internal tools.

The ideal candidate
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with practical experience using modern data libraries to build pipelines, APIs, or automations.
- A versatile technical background with the ability to move fluidly between engineering tasks, from backend data processing to simple frontend development.
- Deep curiosity about AI-enabled development and a proactive approach to learning and applying new tools to solve real-world problems.
