We're looking for an experienced Data Solutions Architect to play a key role in delivering data and analytics solutions across a major business transformation programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in data architecture, integration, analytics, and large-scale technology delivery, who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation while driving successful project outcomes.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the end-to-end technical delivery of Data & Analytics products and services across strategic programmes and projects
  • Collaborating with Data Architecture, Data & Analytics teams, project stakeholders and third-party vendors to deliver scalable data solutions
  • Gathering, validating and translating business data and reporting requirements into technical solutions
  • Defining solution architectures, data models, integration frameworks and ETL requirements
  • Producing and presenting solution blueprints, technical designs and key decision documents (KDDs) to Architecture Governance forums
  • Ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, governance standards and broader IT objectives
  • Managing technical risks, dependencies, assumptions and issues while driving mitigation plans through to resolution
  • Supporting programme planning, resource allocation and capacity management across technical delivery teams
  • Driving stakeholder engagement and influencing adoption of data and analytics products and services across the business
  • Monitoring delivery quality and ensuring projects adhere to agile methodologies and technology best practices

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Data Solutions Architect, Data Architect, or Technical Architect delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions
  • Strong expertise in data architecture, data modelling, ETL processes, system integration and analytics platforms
  • Experience translating complex business and reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Demonstrable experience governing technical design, architecture standards and delivery quality across programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing technical risks, dependencies and delivery challenges across multiple workstreams
  • Exposure to modern data and analytics technologies, cloud platforms and enterprise integration frameworks
  • Previous experience working with external vendors, delivery partners and cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline
  • 10+ years' experience in data, analytics or architecture roles, including leadership and team management experience
