Senior Data Solution & Delivery Lead
Liverpool | Fully On-site | Initial 3-Month Contract | Immediate Start
We are working with a leading organisation in Liverpool seeking an experienced Senior Data Solution & Delivery Lead for an initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension.
This is a senior, hands-on role sitting between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. You will translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, provide technical and delivery leadership, and drive strategic data initiatives from discovery through to implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key link between senior business stakeholders and data engineering teams.
- Lead discovery workshops and translate business requirements into clear, deliverable data solutions.
- Provide solution and architecture guidance across data engineering, analytics, reporting and integration.
- Own backlog prioritisation, delivery planning, risks, dependencies and overall delivery performance.
- Drive data initiatives from concept through implementation, adoption and value realisation.
- Champion data quality, governance, lineage, security and platform resilience.
- Lead and provide direction to distributed onshore/offshore teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve and modernise the existing data platform.

Experience Required
- 10+ years' experience across Data, Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Architecture or Technical Delivery.
- Proven experience leading complex enterprise data initiatives.
- Strong senior stakeholder/client-facing experience.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms, data engineering, architecture, integration and governance.
- Experience with technologies such as AWS, Azure, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong Agile delivery, backlog management and prioritisation experience.
- Ability to combine technical credibility with strong business and delivery leadership.

Contract Details
- Location: Liverpool – On-site
- Duration: Initial 3 months with extension potential
- Start: Immediate – candidates must be available to start straight away
