Job Opportunity: Data Solutions Team - Benefit & Data Correction Specialist

About the Role

Do you have the skills needed to create and amend complex Excel models to support bulk pension data and calculation remediation projects?

We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a team which brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients in areas such as data cleanse, benefit rectification, GMP rectification and system implementation.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our UK offices.

What The Day Will Look Like

  • Carry out and/or review bespoke data modelling work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including consultant, administrators, and specialists, to understand requirements, articulate our work and help make decisions.
  • Help devise strategies for carrying out the required data work within the contractual timescales.
  • Review the work carried out by others to ensure the output is fit for purpose.
  • Developing others in the team.
  • Leading or inputting into process improvement activities.

How This Opportunity Is Different

As a benefit & data correction specialist, you will get the opportunity to interact with a wide range of colleagues and teams within the UK Retirement business.

Your delivery will directly contribute to the ‘Aon Story’. Having a strong network of colleagues for support is pivotal for your individual development, and your network of colleagues will naturally increase rapidly from day one.

Individual development within role will be fast paced, with new and interesting challenges presenting themselves through changes in pensions legislation and industry initiatives.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

  • Proficiency in Excel, with ability to create and amend models.
  • An understanding of UK pension schemes with knowledge of how individual member calculations are performed, and experience of delivering bulk pension data and/or calculation projects.
  • Experience in pension data transformation projects. E.g. GMP Rectification/Reconciliation, GMP Equalisation, Risk Settlement Data Cleanse, Benefit Remediation projects.
  • Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects.
