The Data & Systems Analyst

The Data & Systems Analyst will help the Parish Support Team make better decisions, improve services, and reduce complexity through better use of data, systems, and insight.

Working across departments, the postholder will develop a deep understanding of how information, processes, and services currently operate, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen decision-making, and enhance the experience of colleagues, clergy, volunteers, and other users. They will translate organisational needs into practical solutions, combining data analysis, process improvement, service design, and digital tools to deliver meaningful change.

This person will act as the organisation’s lead specialist to improve data quality, integration, reporting, and governance, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and used effectively across the organisation. They will also support the design and implementation of systems, workflows, and automations that save time, reduce duplication, and enable colleagues to focus on higher-value activities.

By helping the organisation better understand its churches, communities, and activities, and by improving the systems and processes that support them, the Data & Systems Analyst will contribute to the effective stewardship of resources and flourishing of the Church of England ecosystem throughout Derbyshire.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
