Data Tester – Microsoft Fabric | Banking & Investment Management

Initial 6-Months Contract | Hybrid, London (4 days/week onsite) | £350 per day Outside IR35

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Data Tester with a banking/investment management background to validate reporting and analytics solutions on a modern Microsoft Fabric platform — working alongside Data Engineers and Architects to validate source-to-target data movement, business rules, and reconciliations. Initial focus is functional and data validation, with automation introduced gradually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test end-to-end data pipelines; validate transformations and business rules
  • Verify data quality/integrity and perform reconciliations
  • Execute regression, integration, and functional testing
  • Resolve defects with Data Engineers; support gradual test automation
  • Participate in Agile delivery

  • Commercial Data/ETL Tester experience, strong SQL
