A well-known, high-growth business is looking for an experienced interim data leader to take ownership of a major data transformation programme, reporting into a senior technology leadership team.
This isn't a "keep the lights on" role... you'll be leading execution across a live transformation: migrating from a legacy cloud data environment onto Snowflake, defining and shipping data products, and building out the governance and operating model to support it. You'll also be expected to build genuine credibility with ExCo-level stakeholders and a steering committee, and to leave behind a benefits realisation framework that ties the work back to commercial outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What they need from you:
- A track record leading data transformation at scale: platform re-architecture, migration, or modernisation (with clear personal ownership, not just team membership)
- Comfort operating in a fragmented or conflicting data landscape, with a clear approach to source-of-truth, governance, and data product structuring
- Hands-on and leadership-level exposure to Snowflake and modern data stacks (AWS, Athena, DBT or similar)
- Experience leading sizeable data functions and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders (ExCo, CRO, steering committees)
- Genuine interim availability and the flexibility for a hybrid London working pattern
