Data Transformation Manager
London (Hybrid – 3DPW)
Up to £110,000 + bonus
VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation who are looking to recruit a Data Transformation Manager to lead a significant programme of change across their data estate. The successful Data Transformation Manager will take responsibility for the delivery of strategic data initiatives, with a major focus on the rollout of a new Enterprise Data Platform and ensuring the organisation is able to realise genuine business value from its investment in data. Working across Data, Technology and the wider business, this role requires someone who understands complex data environments but is equally strong in transformation delivery, stakeholder management and driving adoption across an enterprise organisation.
Key Responsibilities of the Data Transformation Manager:
- Take ownership of the delivery of major data transformation initiatives across the organisation.
- Lead the implementation and business adoption of a new Enterprise Data Platform.
- Develop and manage the delivery plan for data transformation, ensuring priorities remain aligned with wider organisational objectives.
- Manage multiple workstreams across data, analytics and emerging AI capabilities.
- Coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders and third parties throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and delivery milestones.
- Ensure new data capabilities are successfully embedded across the business rather than simply delivered from a technical perspective.
- Define how the success and business impact of data initiatives will be measured, including adoption, efficiencies and commercial value.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to communicate progress, resolve challenges and maintain alignment across transformation activity.
- Support improvements to the organisation’s wider approach to data governance, quality and management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
