About The Group

The world is obsessed by small start-ups or the largest corporates. Most UK media agencies are built to serve the top 100 spending clients, and there are a multitude of boutique agencies to serve those starting out in business. The Specialist Works is different. We are built exclusively for marketers at entrepreneurial brands. Businesses that are past the messy start-up stage but are worlds away from the slow-paced nature of large corporates.

Our clients span large privately owned businesses (often PE backed, founder-led or both) and small to mid-cap public enterprises. They are fighting larger, more established competitors and know they need to think and behave differently to win. They don't conform to category norms. Since they can't out-spend their competition, disruption is the safest move they can make.

The marketers leading these brands are innovative, resourceful, moving at pace and in all-out growth mode. They're powerful; redefining categories, overtaking and acquiring traditional businesses and changing consumer behaviour along with it.

Our clients share three common yet exciting challenges which define everything we do as an agency:

  • Consumer - customer acquisition is key to their success
  • Company - they are highly ambitious and built lean
  • Category - they are often outspent by their competitors, need to outmanoeuvre the competition and are passionate about disrupting an established category

Role Overview

As a TSW Data Visualisation Executive you will be a key member of a dynamic media activation team, and a critical part of our service delivery to clients. You will oversee the integrity and evolution of our reporting and attribution platforms.

Day to day you'll build, maintain and improve dashboards across our client base, mostly in Adverity, our core data platform. You'll pull together a variety of data into clear visual reports that answer questions, generate insight and demonstrate the impact of our work on our clients' businesses.

You'll work closely with the wider data team and our channel specialists to make sure the data behind each dashboard is accurate, well structured and easy to read. As part of this you'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and clients to ensure that data is provided correctly and that our data solutions adhere to the data governance required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role is suited to someone with a background in data visualisation, an understanding of the fundamentals of media planning and buying, and a talent for interpreting data and distilling it into insight.

Requirements

  • Build, maintain and improve client dashboards and reports, primarily in Adverity
  • Pull together data from multiple marketing platforms into clear, accurate visual outputs
  • Work with our channel specialists to understand what each client needs to see, and why
  • Check the data behind every report. Spot errors, and question anything that doesn't add up
  • Help clients get value from our dashboards, supporting them through onboarding and answering their questions
  • Keep our reporting consistent and well presented across the agency, working to our templates and standards
  • Suggest better ways to visualise data as you learn what lands with clients and what doesn't
  • Work in a friendly but assertive way with colleagues, suppliers and clients to get things done to our standard

What you'll bring:

  • 1-2 years' hands-on experience with a data visualisation platform used in the marketing or media industry. Adverity is what our stack is built around, so experience there is ideal. Looker, Power BI or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (formerly Datorama) would also set you up well
  • A real eye for data visualisation. You know a good dashboard from a cluttered one, and you care about the difference
  • Comfort working with marketing or media data, and a grasp of the common metrics behind it
  • Attention to detail. You check your numbers, and you notice when something's wrong
  • The ability to explain what a chart is telling you in plain English, to people who aren't data specialists

Nice to have:

  • Some SQL and/or Python experience
  • Experience connecting data sources through APIs or platform connectors
  • Exposure to more than one visualisation tool
