At Perch Group, our vision is clear: to lead the UK debt purchase and collection industry by harnessing cutting-edge technology to drive ethical, efficient, and data-driven debt resolution.
Our annual mission is to empower hundreds of thousands of customers to positively engage with and resolve their outstanding debts. We do this through an empathetic and customer-centric approach that is at the heart of our success.
Could this be the next step in your career?
We’re looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Developer with strong data modelling capability and proven experience delivering enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions. You will play a key role in shaping our analytical data assets, designing high-quality dimensional models, and ensuring that the data warehouse underpins reliable, scalable, and consistent reporting across the business.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data modelling as a craft, understands the realities of end-to-end DWH delivery, and wants to make a meaningful impact on data quality, governance, and analytical enablement.
So, what will your day-to-day look like?
Data Modelling & Architecture
- Design high-quality dimensional data models (star, snowflake, Data Vault if applicable) aligned to business definitions and analytical needs.
- Maintain and evolve semantic layers, conformed dimensions, and enterprise-wide modelling standards.
- Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Ensure models support performance, usability, extensibility, and governance needs.
Data Warehouse Delivery
- Develop and enhance data warehouse layers (staging, integration, dimensional/presentation).
- Build robust ETL/ELT processes using ADF, Databricks, or SQL-based pipelines.
- Work closely with business SMEs, analysts, and data engineers to ensure models and data flows meet requirements.
- Apply data quality and validation principles to ensure trustworthy analytical data.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
