Power BI & Data Warehouse Developer - Private Equity - Azure
Orbis is working with a finance-for-good investment firm who are making the world a better place through investing in highly positive-impact initiatives. They are now hiring a BI & Data Warehouse Developer with excellent Power BI and Azure Data Warehouse Development experience as part of their drive to enable organisation-wide data-driven decision making.
The successful Data Warehouse Developer will work with tech and business teams at every level across the organisation in a highly interactive stakeholder-facing position. This is an incredible opportunity for a BI Developer to enable the data-driven decision making which will improve lives around the world.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Building and maintaining ETL pipelines, pulling data from investment platforms and the data warehouse for the design and delivery of Power BI solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership and investment teams, to understand reporting needs and deliver effective Power BI dashboards.
- The development and maintenance of the Microsoft Fabric data warehouse, ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and fit for reporting
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- (Essential) 5+ years commercial Power BI development experience in Financial Services, preferably Investment Management
- (Essential) Excellent Data Warehouse development experience, specifically with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory experience, as well as advanced data modelling experience using the Star Schema methodology or similar
- Excellent Power BI, DAX, Power Query, ETL and SQL experience
- Proven background working with a variety of technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into Power BI solutions
