An Elite FinTech Firm is looking for a highly talented Database Administrator with strong PostgreSQL experience to join an elite group of individuals.

Role:
- Working as part of a team of engineers looking after and building a zero-down time low latency database infrastructure
- Automating anything and everything
- Working on a new build of a custom high performance time series database (Similar to Clickhouse)
- Working heavily in PostgreSQL as well as provisioning/designing new solutions
- Performance tuning/optimisation
- Implementing best DevOps/SRE practices

Skills:
- 5+ years of PostgreSQL administration is essential
- Knowledge of performance tuning is a plus
- Knowledge of Linux is essential
- Knowledge of some of the following is a plus: Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Puppet, Chef, CI/CD, Docker, Prometheus, etc.
- Exposure to Python/C# or Powershell are a plus!
- A passion for time series databases
- Financial Services experience is a plus
