Location
Derby (2 days per week in the office)

Day Rate Contract (6 months initially)
Pay
£350-400 per day Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and coordinate Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) from receipt through to completion, ensuring statutory deadlines and internal service standards are met.
- Log, acknowledge, track and maintain accurate records of all DSARs and associated correspondence within case management systems.
- Conduct searches for personal data across Microsoft 365 platforms including Outlook, Exchange Online archives, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other relevant business systems.
- Utilise Microsoft Purview and associated eDiscovery tools to identify, collect, review and export personal information relevant to data subject rights requests.
- Retrieve and collate personal information from physical and electronic records, email archives, customer systems, HR records, operational systems and other repositories as required.
- Coordinate the retrieval of CCTV footage and associated evidence, working closely with Security and operational teams to identify and preserve relevant recordings.
- Review information obtained during searches and apply appropriate redactions using approved redaction software to protect third-party personal data and confidential information.
- Support the assessment of information for disclosure, applying relevant exemptions and escalation processes where appropriate.
- Liaise with departments including Human Resources, Information Technology, Security, Customer Services, Occupational Health, Legal, Operations and other business areas to identify and obtain personal data held locally.
- Maintain audit trails and evidence of searches undertaken, data reviewed, redactions applied and disclosure decisions made.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under legislative deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent cases and maintain accurate records.
Nice to have
- Experience administering data subject rights requests or handling confidential personal data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, SharePoint, Teams and Purview/eDiscovery tools.
- Experience reviewing and redacting documents, emails, CCTV footage and other records.
- Understanding of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and information governance principles.
