We are partnering with a specialist recruitment consultancy that connects top talent with leading businesses across various industries. They are seeking a Database Administrator to join a dynamic team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and security of vital data systems.
The Role
- Design, implement, and manage robust database systems
- Ensure efficient, secure, and reliable database operations
- Perform database management, performance tuning, and backup/recovery procedures
- Oversee database upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting
- Maintain high standards of data integrity and availability
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support system needs

What You'll Need
- Proven experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
- Expertise in database management, performance tuning, and backup/recovery
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator) are a plus
