Database Technical Specialist | Oracle & MongoDB | Fleet, Hampshire | £550/day Inside IR35
Location: Fleet, Hampshire (2-3 days per week onsite)
Rate: £550 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Initial 12-month contract
Start: ASAP
We're supporting a global IT services organisation on a major Financial Services programme and are looking for an experienced Database Technical Specialist to join the team.
This role will focus on the administration, support, and optimisation of critical database platforms, with particular emphasis on Oracle and MongoDB technologies. You'll work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver secure, resilient, and automated database services within a highly regulated financial services environment.

Required Experience
- Oracle 19c administration
- MongoDB v7 administration
- Oracle & MongoDB certifications
- MongoDB Ops Manager
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Oracle Wallet
- CyberArk integration
- Ansible & Jenkins automation
- Shell Scripting
- PL/SQL development and support
- JavaScript knowledge
- ServiceNow incident and change management
- Recent experience within a top-tier Financial Services organisation
- Experience supporting business-critical platforms within Banking, Financial Services, or Payments environments

- ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Tier 1 Banking, Investment Banking, Cards, or Payments experience
Please note: Recent top-tier Financial Services experience is mandatory. Candidates must also be able to commit to 2-3 days per week onsite in Fleet, Hampshire throughout the assignment.
