We’re looking for an experienced Databricks Engineer to join a growing data and AI team on an exciting long-term project.
This is a fully remote UK contract, working on a modern Azure and Databricks environment, building scalable data solutions and supporting the continued development of a Lakehouse platform.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for designing, developing and optimising data pipelines and solutions across Azure Databricks, working closely with Data Engineers, Architects and wider technology teams.

Key Skills
- Strong commercial Databricks experience
- Azure Databricks and Azure data services
- Strong Python / PySpark / SQL
- Apache Spark & Delta Lake
- Data pipelines and Lakehouse architecture
- CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
- Experience with Unity Catalog
Desirable: Lakeflow Connect, Lakehouse Federation, Terraform, Azure Data Factory or experience supporting AI / GenAI workloads.

Contract Details
- Location: UK – Fully Remote
- Contract: 6 months initially, likely extensions
- IR35: Outside IR35 / B2B
- Start: ASAP
