Job Description
Minimum 4 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
- Experience leading a team executing a project.
- Experienced with datacenter environments, including MMR, Cages, and shared areas.
- Knowledgeable in server hardware components: power cycling, running diagnostics, whole unit replacement, and fault diagnosis.
- Understanding of network equipment functionalities (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers): power cycling, running diagnostics, whole unit replacement, and fault diagnosis.
- Experienced in structured cabling, including standards, specifications, installation techniques, labeling, and organization.
- Basic electrician skills: power testing, connector types, AC and DC equipment.
- Know how to upgrade servers and switches' operational systems.
- Basic fiber troubleshooting with power meter and looping.
- Basic understanding of technology: WAN/LAN, Wireless, and Cloud.
- Experience working in or around MPOE, IDF, and MDF rooms.

Leadership:
- Manage a group of 2 or 3 L1 engineers during a project or an incident.
Project Management:
- Ability to understand a project and its concepts and execute tasks related to the role.
- Control the timeline, activities, and the team on-site reporting it to the project manager.
- Be able to negotiate and remove barriers with customer resources on-site.
- Understand technical documentation like rack elevation and floor plan.
- Adaptability with tasks and timelines.
