  • Or a combination of both, depending on your skills, experience and business requirements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

No two weeks are the same. One week you may be installing equipment in a hyperscale data centre, while the next you could be responding to a network fault or assisting with a large infrastructure migration.

Responsibilities

  • Install, replace and decommission IT and network equipment
  • Install and manage copper and fibre optic cabling
  • Install patch panels, cabinets and cable containment
  • Assist with structured cabling and rack build projects
  • Carry out hardware swaps and basic fault finding
  • Complete site documentation, photographs and work reports
  • Work safely and professionally on customer sites
  • Collaborate with our 24/7 Network Operations Centre and Project Management team
  • Deliver high-quality work while meeting customer and project deadlines

Qualifications

We’re looking for practical, reliable engineers with a positive attitude. You don’t need experience in every area—training and support will be provided where required.

We’re interested in candidates who have some of the following:

  • Experience working in data centres, telecommunications, IT infrastructure or similar technical environments
  • Basic understanding of servers, switches, routers or other network hardware
  • Experience with structured cabling or fibre optics is advantageous but not essential
  • Good practical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A willingness to travel throughout Europe
  • A full driving licence is beneficial
