Datadog SME | 6-Month Contract | York | Hybrid
Join a major technology transformation environment where you'll help define and implement enterprise observability across infrastructure, microservices and hybrid cloud platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on Datadog architecture, platform implementation, reliability and optimisation.
Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Designing observability standards, architectures and frameworks across complex environments.
- Deploying and managing Datadog APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, Logs, RUM, Synthetics and Database Monitoring.
- Establishing SLIs, SLOs and error budgets to improve reliability and reduce MTTR.
- Optimising observability pipelines, log routing, indexing, retention and ingestion costs.
- Managing Datadog dashboards, monitors and configurations using Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Supporting Kubernetes environments across AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Guiding engineering teams on OpenTelemetry, SRE telemetry and CI/CD integrations.
