The mission of this role is to develop a UK E-commerce strategy and growing our salon professional brand online for the UK
As our E-Commerce Manager, you will strengthen Davines’ digital presence by managing our e-commerce channels and executing digital marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, create meaningful customer experiences, and foster strong digital relationships.
What You Will Do
- This role will be responsible for building an E-commerce Strategy for the UK and managing all aspects of growing the UK online store including SEO and paid media advertising strategy.
- Lead with the Marketing Manager on the launch of a NEW products and in collaboration with our Global team in Italy and other functions such as the Commercial Strategy & Planning Manager.
- Own the P&L for the website including paid media support and manage all budgets and forecasts and defining the budget annually in line with channel growth.
- Being agile and reactive to internal and external trends and change initiative and promotional plans accordingly to ensure the budget it maximised and drives revenue and meets set KPIs.
- Lead the strategy for the planning and managing agencies across paid digital campaigns across search, maximising budgets across display, remarketing, social media advertising, and SEO & CRM. There will also be a focus on optimising user journeys and digital marketing campaigns to improve traffic and conversion.
- Lead the review, analysis & reporting to produce a top line weekly, monthly and more in-depth quarterly trading report with all key trading metrics such as forecasts, month landing, key activations, loyalty, promo results, KPIs, updates and any significant market trends, sharing insights and recommendations on how to deliver vs targets.
- Implement and lead all NPDs, promotional activity/executions, and digital marketing activity across the channel.
- Manage day-to-day ecommerce operations within Shopify+. Responsible for the constant optimisation of the sites to deliver our defined business outcomes through collaboration with the marketing manager and global digital team, cross functional teams, and Italian HQ.
- Work with our media agencies to optimise across Paid Search & SEO. Manage digital agency relationship, media budget & forecasting.
- Work in partnership with the UK Marketing Manager and Social Media Freelancer on blog and social media to align around key marketing activities such as new product launches and campaigns.
- Work with Marketing Manager to partner with social media and PR teams to support influencer/affiliate/event marketing and measure the impact through codes/links.
- Annual planning – forecasting sales targets for the brand working closely on Operations/Logistics with UK Customer Care and our warehouse on stock levels, order issues and technical issues.
- Provide Best in Class customer care devising SOPs for account queries, damages, inaccurate orders and returns to delight our customers.
- Work closely with Global digital team and E-retailer Manager to create an aligned UK and global marketing calendar.
- Collaborate with demand planning to ensure stock quantities for on-going SKUs, NPDs, GWP and samples to meet arranged timelines and minimise OOS.
- Work with Customer Care team regarding customer enquiries

- High competency of Google Analytics
- E-Commerce Store Management (3 years +)
- Strong knowledge of SEO
- Good knowledge of Advertising strategies (e.g. display/programmatic/social)
- Shopify Experience 3 Years +
- Team player, can work under own initiative, high achiever
- Clear communication skills, highly motivational and enthusiastic
- Analytical, a keen eye for attention to detail
