Purpose
We are looking for a full-time Baker to join our Day Bakery Team at our Ascot Drive Bakery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for baking who enjoys working in a busy bakery environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- You will play an important role in our daily production, helping ensure our bakery products are prepared, baked, and packed to the highest standards.
- Weigh and prepare ingredients accurately for bakery production.
- Operate bakery machinery, including mixing, baking, and packing equipment.
- Assist with the production of a variety of bakery products.
- Ensure products are prepared and presented to high quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace while adhering to strict food hygiene and safety guidelines.
- Work efficiently to ensure dispatch deadlines are met.

Shifts
- 45 hours per week
- Day shift starting at 5:00am
- Required to work 1 in 5 Saturdays to support our 7-day bakery operation.

Experience
- Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of machinery and handcrafted baking processes
- Be able to demonstrate pastry and confectionery skills such as piping and decorating to produce products to a high standard in an efficient, clean and tidy manner
- Observe the highest food hygiene guidelines to meet strict despatch deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous bakery experience preferred. Training will be provided for suitable applicants.
