About Us
At The Foxhall Centre Lavender Trust, our mission is simple: Where older people come first. We provide high-quality day care services in our recently refurbished, purpose-built, fully accessible ground-floor centre. Adopting a deeply person-centred approach, we assist older individuals and those living with dementia or specialist needs to maintain their independence, socialise, and thrive in a bright, caring environment.
About the Role
We are seeking an inspirational and proactive Day Centre Manager to take the operational lead at our day centre during our current 3-day opening schedule (Tuesday to Thursday). You will be responsible for creating a safe, vibrant, and welcoming haven for our members.
You will manage the delivery of our daily packages—which include interactive social activities (crafts, music, gardening, baking, and reminiscence), a fresh two-course lunch, and essential care support like assistance with medication.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
