DEVELOPMENT DETAILS
You’ll be at the heart of a contemporary residential community in Hackney Wick, surrounded by independent cafes, galleries, studios and bars that give the area its creative energy. With Hackney Wick Overground a short stroll away, and London Fields and Cambridge Heath nearby for services into Liverpool Street and Stratford, the location is well-connected yet village-like. Your front-of-house presence will shape the daily experience for residents and visitors in a modern setting where design, convenience and community come together.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will be the friendly first point of contact for residents and guests, delivering a seamless front-of-house service from the reception desk and around the development. You’ll coordinate deliveries, manage keys and contractors, maintain immaculate communal areas and keep clear records, all while handling queries efficiently and professionally. Every day, you’ll ensure the building feels safe, welcoming and well-run.
What Success Looks Like
- Residents and visitors consistently receive a warm, proactive welcome and helpful support.
- Reception and communal areas are always immaculate, orderly and well-presented.
- Deliveries, keys and contractor movements are logged accurately and handled promptly.
- Issues are identified early, escalated appropriately and resolved with minimal disruption.
- Clear, timely communication keeps residents informed and reassured.
- Compliance, health and safety and site procedures are followed to the letter.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time
- Greeting residents and guests, responding to queries and providing local information.
- Managing parcel deliveries, logging items and coordinating collection with residents.
- Overseeing key control, access permissions and contractor sign-in/out.
- Conducting regular walks of the building, noting defects and reporting maintenance needs.
- Maintaining accurate records, incident reports and daily handovers.
- Supporting emergencies and drills, following procedures and liaising with management.

Experience That Helps
- Previous concierge, hospitality, customer service or front-of-house experience.
- Experience in residential developments, hotels or corporate reception environments.
- Familiarity with access control systems, parcel management and basic H&S procedures.
- Confident using email, logging systems and handheld devices to keep accurate records.
- Knowledge of the local area and transport links to support resident queries.
