DEVELOPMENT DETAILS
You’ll be the welcoming face at a contemporary 12-storey waterside development of 95 apartments in Paddington Basin, with calming views over the Grand Union Canal. It’s a vibrant, well-connected setting with a rooftop lounge and outdoor gym for residents, daytime concierge support and 24-hour security. With Paddington station directly opposite for the Elizabeth line, Underground and National Rail, you’ll work at the heart of a thriving community where city convenience meets canalside calm.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will deliver an attentive front-of-house service, greeting residents and guests, handling enquiries and coordinating smooth building operations. You’ll keep communal areas presentable, liaise with security and contractors, and respond promptly to day-to-day issues to keep the development running safely and efficiently.

- Residents feel known by name and receive quick, friendly, solutions-focused support.
- The lobby and communal areas are consistently immaculate and welcoming.
- Incidents and maintenance issues are logged, escalated and followed through to resolution.
- Clear, timely communication keeps residents informed and reassured.
- Strong collaboration with security and contractors ensures a safe, well-run building.
- Handover notes are thorough, enabling seamless continuity between shifts.

- Greeting residents and visitors, managing access and handling deliveries.
- Responding to enquiries in person, by phone and email, resolving or escalating as needed.
- Conducting regular checks of the reception and communal areas, addressing housekeeping standards.
- Monitoring building security and CCTV in line with procedures, and liaising with the 24-hour security team.
- Logging repairs, coordinating with contractors and updating residents on progress.
- Maintaining accurate shift reports, incident logs and handover notes.

Experience That Helps
- Front-of-house or concierge experience in residential, hotel or corporate settings.
- Working knowledge of access control, CCTV or building safety procedures.
- Using property management or ticketing systems to log and track tasks.
- Experience coordinating contractors and following up on maintenance issues.
- Familiarity with the local area and transport options to support resident queries.
