DEVELOPMENT DETAILS

You’ll be the welcoming face of a landmark community of around 500 contemporary homes in the heart of Walthamstow. Designed across multiple phases and centred on landscaped public spaces, the development blends calm green areas with lively urban living. Residents enjoy private balconies and terraces, creating a close-knit neighbourhood feel where you’ll build strong relationships and support a vibrant, modern lifestyle every day.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

You will deliver a warm, attentive front-of-house service, ensuring residents and visitors feel safe, informed and valued. You will manage the reception area, coordinate building access and deliveries, and be the eyes and ears of the development, reporting issues promptly and supporting the onsite team to keep everything running smoothly.

  • The reception area is immaculate, welcoming and efficiently managed throughout your shift.
  • Incidents and maintenance concerns are logged accurately and escalated swiftly.
  • Access control is tightly managed with clear records and zero security breaches.
  • Communication with residents, contractors and the management team is timely and solution-focused.
  • Handovers are thorough, ensuring seamless continuity between shifts.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time

  • Greeting residents and visitors, managing enquiries and providing local information.
  • Overseeing access control, issuing keys/fobs and monitoring CCTV in line with procedures.
  • Coordinating parcel and courier deliveries, maintaining accurate logs.
  • Conducting regular building walks to spot and report cleaning, maintenance or safety issues.
  • Liaising with contractors and the onsite team to support smooth operations.
  • Preparing clear, concise shift reports and handovers.

Experience That Helps

  • Front-of-house experience in residential, hospitality or customer service environments.
  • Working knowledge of access control, CCTV or reception systems.
  • Experience managing deliveries, bookings or contractor attendance.
  • Familiarity with incident reporting and basic health and safety procedures.
  • Local knowledge of Walthamstow and surrounding transport links.
