DAY DUTY MANAGER

Rendall & Rittner

37961
The Heron, Barbican - EC2Y 9AP
4 Days On, 4 Days Off - 0700 - 1900

DEVELOPMENT DETAILS

You’ll be at the heart of a high-end 36-floor tower comprising 285 private apartments in the City of London. This is a polished, service-led environment where residents enjoy a car park, an elegant club lounge, a screening room, and a well-equipped gym. With Moorgate, Barbican, and Liverpool Street stations close by, the pace is dynamic and professional, and your day will blend five-star front-of-house service with meticulous building operations in a premium city setting.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

You will be the on-shift lead, taking ownership of day operations in the absence of the estate management team, coordinating site staff and contractor activity, and keeping the building running smoothly and safely. You’ll be highly visible to residents, resolving queries with care, managing processes and compliance, and making sound decisions under time pressure. You will balance service excellence with rigorous standards in health and safety, presentation, and reporting.

What Success Looks Like

  • Residents feel listened to, supported, and delighted by prompt, professional service.
  • The building operates safely and smoothly throughout your shift, with proactive risk management.
  • Teams and contractors are coordinated effectively, with clear briefings and handovers.
  • Standards of presentation are consistently five-star across all front and back-of-house areas.
  • Incidents are managed calmly, documented accurately, and escalated appropriately.
  • Accurate logs, reports, and compliance checks are completed on time, every time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
