Overview
Bradburys Group is recruiting a high-calibre, customer-focused Security Officers within Leicestershire. Operating as the primary front-of-house representative, acting as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, contractors, and stakeholders, you will play a critical role in shaping first impressions and maintaining a secure, controlled, and professional environment.
Every interaction, whether routine or high-pressure, must be managed with discretion, confidence, and professionalism, ensuring that both the client’s brand and Bradburys Group’s service standards are consistently upheld.
Responsibilities
The role goes beyond traditional security delivery. You will be expected to actively shape the customer experience, creating an environment that is not only safe and controlled, but also welcoming, efficient, and aligned with a premium service ethos. Your presence should instil confidence, deter risk, and enhance the overall perception of the site.
Following Structured Onboarding, You Will
- Deliver a professional, welcoming front-of-house presence at all times
- Balance vigilance with approachability, authority, and professionalism
- Provide a safe and secure environment without compromising customer experience
- Maintain immaculate presentation and professional standards
- Engage confidently with visitors, staff, and contractors
- Manage enquiries efficiently, with clarity and professionalism
- Maintain accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
- Ensure full compliance with site procedures and operational protocols
- Represent and enhance the client’s brand reputation
- Liaise effectively with police, emergency services, and site stakeholders
- Conduct access control, including lock/unlock procedures
- Identify, assess, and escalate risks or health & safety concerns
- Respond to alarms and incidents in a calm and controlled manner
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to Operations Management

Essential Criteria
- Valid SIA licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision, or Close Protection)
- First Aid / Emergency First Aid qualification
- Full 5-year checkable work history and Right to Work in the UK
- Proven experience in a customer-facing security or front-of-house role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Immaculate presentation and high personal standards
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to manage conflict professionally while maintaining service quality
- High levels of reliability, discipline, and timekeeping
Desirable
- CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) licence
- Fire Marshal certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
