Warehouse Operative - Erith
As a Warehouse Operative with Ocado Logistics, you'll play a vital role in preparing customer orders in our state-of-the-art fulfilment centre in Erith.
With a variety of departments and shift options available, our core roster gives you the opportunity to plan your work-life balance with confidence. You'll receive your work pattern 6 to 13 weeks in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan with family and friends.
What We're Looking For
- New to warehousing? No problem. Skills can be taught. Bring your positive attitude and we'll support you every step of the way.
- You must be 18 or over.
- You must be able to handle meat and alcohol.
- You must be able to travel to and from the site reliably for your scheduled shifts.
- For your safety and the safety of others, you must be able to understand and follow Health & Safety briefings and operational instructions.
- Please note that we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to fulfil customer orders. A range of shift patterns may be available, so please speak with your recruiter for more information.
Available Roles
Days Inbound - 06:00 to 16:00 - 4 days per week as per roster
Receive goods from suppliers and place them into totes ready for our robots and picking teams. You'll help ensure stock is available and ready for customer orders.

Days Pick - 06:00 to 15:00 - 4 days per week as per roster
Pick and pack customer orders into shopping totes with care and accuracy. Our technology and robotics help support the process, making it an exciting and fast-paced environment.
Days Despatch - 06:00 to 17:00 - 4 days per week as per roster
Load customer totes into delivery frames ready for dispatch and organise returned totes from delivery routes. This is a physical role involving regular lifting and moving of goods, making it a fast-paced and active role.
What You'll Receive
- Basic rate: £12.93 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.25x the basic rate
You can also increase your earnings through our performance-based incentive scheme, where top performers receive additional hourly premiums.
