Day Support Worker
£12.84 per hour, 23 hours per week
About The Role
We have a 23 hour per week contract available for a Day Support Worker in our beautifully kept day service for older people living with dementia.
Week 1, 4 days, 12.30pm – 5.30pm.
Week 2, 5 days, Various shifts between 9am – 5.30pm
No weekend, evenings, or bank holidays.
At the Kimbrose Club we specialise in supporting older people, living with dementia, to live fulfilled life within their communities, by providing a wide variety of activities, keeping minds activity, and engaged, reducing anxiety, loneliness, and isolation.
Main Responsibilities
You will support the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of our club members by:
- Assisting club members with personal care
- Providing physical and mental stimulation by facilitating and taking part in recreational activities with club members
- Monitoring club members wellbeing and health and maintaining care plans.
- Administering medication.
- Assisting with appropriate levels of fluid and nutritional intake.
- Generally promoting our club members’ independence, choice, dignity, and respect
- Providing cover for the Kitchen Assistant when they are on leave.
- Act as a driver, escort when necessary.
- Delivering the very best standards of personal care, activities, and recording all actions.

Personal Specification
- Be conscientious, flexible and dependable
- Able to interact with a cheerful demeanour
- Able to work within a team
- Have a passion for supporting older people to enjoy life
- Hold a full manual driving licence.
