Insight Global are seeking a Dayforce Payroll Implementation Consultant
for a leading global human capital management software organisation.
This opportunity is ideal for a payroll professional with strong hands-on Dayforce implementation expertise and deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation. The successful candidate will play a key role in payroll implementations, testing, validation, optimisation, and client-facing support activities while ensuring payroll processes remain compliant and efficient.
This position requires fully remote working, in the UK, for a 3-month contract with potential for extension and will be Outside-IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Dayforce Payroll implementation projects, including configuration, testing, validation, and post-go-live optimisation.
- Execute payroll testing activities including parallel payroll runs, gross-to-net validation, and variance analysis.
- Ensure payroll processes align with UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
- Analyse and validate payroll data, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear documentation.
- Support payroll reconciliation activities and ensure accuracy across payroll outputs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective payroll solutions.
- Work closely with teams supporting HR, Time & Attendance, Absence, Benefits, Finance, and Integrations to ensure payroll impacts are considered.

Must-Have Requirements Include:
- Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Dayforce Payroll.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation including PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, statutory payments, starters, leavers, tax periods, and payroll reconciliation.
- Experience with payroll testing, parallel payroll runs, gross-to-net validation, and variance analysis.
- Understanding of how HR master data, Time, Absence, Benefits, General Ledger, Banking, Reporting, and Integrations interact with payroll.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, data validation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Plusses Include:
- Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-pay-group payroll environments, particularly within Ireland.
- Exposure to payroll-related integrations including pensions, banking, benefits, General Ledger, or third-party payroll systems.
- Knowledge of Dayforce Workforce Management, Absence Management, Benefits, Reporting, or Integrations modules.
- CIPP qualification or equivalent UK payroll certification.
- Experience supporting payroll transformation programmes, managed services, or post-go-live stabilisation activities.
