Job Title: Db2 DBA (z/OS)
Duration: long-term contract
Location: UK Based Remote
Role Description:
We are looking for a Db2 for z/OS DBA to design, implement, and support enterprise Db2 environments, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and compliance with SLA and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level Db2 for z/OS production support, troubleshooting, and performance management.
- Manage database releases, changes, QA, and production deployments.
- Support Db2 V13 for z/OS environments.
- Perform SMP/E installation, maintenance, upgrades, and software deployment activities.
- Implement RACF/ACF2 security and Db2 access controls.
- Build and maintain high-availability and replication solutions.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience as a Db2 for z/OS DBA.
- Strong experience with Db2 V13 for z/OS.
- Hands-on experience with SMP/E for installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Solid IBM Z/Mainframe database experience.
- Experience with RACF/ACF2, security, HA, replication, and production support.
