DBA - Asset Manager - Up to £60k + Bonus

A rare opportunity to step into a DBA role with the scope to grow well beyond traditional database administration. You'll join an established investment management firm at an exciting point of global transformation, becoming part of a collaborative technology function and sit within the Infrastructure & Platform team - as a net new addition to the team, not a replacement.

As a DBA, your core focus will be SQL Server administration - keeping things running, solving problems and bringing your own ideas to the table. But this goes well beyond a traditional DBA role: as the platform evolves, you'll gain exposure to new technologies and develop your skills beyond the database. With a dedicated mentor and a manager genuinely invested in your progression, it's a great opportunity to grow not only as a DBA, but as a well-rounded technologist.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
