About the Job
We are looking for a talented DBA to join our technology team on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
This is an opportunity to dive into our in-house systems, manage databases, and contribute to a new project (Snowflake, ETL tools and Tableau) for our BI team.
We work in an agile and lean framework and greatly value collaboration and collective input. We are a small team in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization, so you will be able to make a real impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of all our in-house and cloud databases (GCP)
- Tuning and security
- Managing backups
- Managing database upgrades
- Supporting the BI team with data sources, performance and connectivity for Tableau reporting
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DBA
- Experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with ETL tools
- Experience with Tableau, including connecting and optimizing data sources for dashboards
- Ability to get up to speed quickly with existing systems and handle a structured handover
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar
