We are seeking passionate Detectives to join our esteemed Child Abuse Investigation Team. If you are a tenacious, compassionate, and driven Detective with a strong sense of justice, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and sensitive investigations into cases involving inter-familial and position of trust child abuse, where the child is under 18 at the time of reporting.
- Collaborate with partner agencies including social workers, medical staff, and legal professionals, to secure the best outcome for the child.
- Consider and apply Achieving Best Evidence for interviews of victims and witnesses.
- Conduct challenging and considered interviews with suspects.
- Remain current with developments in child protection to ensure the best service is offered.
Qualifications And Skills
- Accredited Detective Constable – PIP2 qualified.
- Ability to handle sensitive and distressing situations with empathy and professionalism.
