Job Summary

Supports inventory accuracy and operational efficiency within the distribution centre by performing a variety of inventory control activities. Ensures stock integrity through regular inventory audits, stock investigations, and inventory adjustments while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and compliance. Works closely with warehouse operations to resolve inventory discrepancies and support continuous improvement.

This role is a weekend only role with working hours as follows:

  • 07:00 - 17:30

What will you be doing?

  • Perform inventory counts and stock reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct frozen stock checks and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Research and resolve missing stock, shortages, and overages.
  • Process inventory adjustments, including back-to-stock transactions and other inventory movements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
  • Support stock transfers and ensure all inventory movements are recorded accurately.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to identify root causes of inventory issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Performs routine inventory control activities following established procedures and work instructions.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when processing inventory transactions.
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves inventory discrepancies.
  • Prioritises workload to meet operational deadlines and business requirements.
  • Uses Warehouse Management System and other inventory tools to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborates effectively with warehouse operations and other departments to resolve inventory issues.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
