The opportunity
Join NHS Resolution’s Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) directorate at a pivotal time as we develop our Commercial Management team and shape the future of this function.
As DDaT Contract Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of strategic technology and digital contracts, ensuring suppliers deliver high-quality services, value for money and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to influence key decisions, work with senior stakeholders and play a vital role in supporting the digital services that underpin our organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be working closely with the DDaT Commercial Management Lead to mobilise this function and strengthen our commercial capabilities. This will include:
- Leading the management of DDaT contracts throughout their lifecycle, from mobilisation to renewal and exit.
- Building strong supplier relationships and driving service excellence through effective governance and performance management.
- Identifying opportunities to improve value for money, reduce risk and enhance supplier performance.
- Providing commercial insight and advice to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Coaching and training DDaT colleagues to build commercial awareness, strengthen contract management capability and support consistent supplier management practice.

- Experience managing contracts, suppliers and commercial relationships in a digital technology or IT service environment.
- A track record of improving supplier performance and delivering measurable business value.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
- The ability to understand contractual, financial and performance information and turn it into practical actions.
- Excellent organisational skills and the confidence to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement.

About Us
NHS Resolution is a not-for-profit arm’s length of the NHS working for health care providers to resolve claims fairly and to share learning across the NHS and beyond. We provide a supportive environment for our staff with specialist training and the opportunity for personal development.
