DDI Engineer (Infoblox / BlueCat / VitalQIP) | £500-£560p/day (Inside IR35) | Fully remote | 6 month contract (due to extend)
Our client is looking for an experienced DDI Engineer to join a large-scale programme. The role is focused on engineering, administration, and optimisation of enterprise DDI platforms. We're looking for a dedicated DDI specialist with extensive hands-on engineering experience across enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) platforms.
This role will suit someone who has built, engineered, migrated, and supported enterprise DDI environments, not someone whose DNS/DHCP experience has come purely through network security or firewall products.

Key Responsibilities
- Engineer, deploy, and maintain enterprise DDI platforms, including Infoblox, Cygna Labs QIP, and/or VitalQIP.
- Design and administer enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
- Lead DDI platform migrations, upgrades, and consolidation projects.
- Design and maintain IP address management structures, subnet allocation, and governance.
- Manage DHCP scopes, failover configurations, and enterprise lease management.
Essential Experience
- Strong commercial experience engineering enterprise DDI platforms.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of:
- Infoblox (NIOS/BloxOne)
- Cygna Labs QIP
- VitalQIP
- Experience delivering DDI migrations and upgrades.
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and VLANs).

- Experience within regulated environments would be ideal!
